Glimpses of life in Terling

See some of our pictures of yesteryear here.

More are held, see our database, join our Historic Terling Group or come to visit us at All Saints’ Church, Terling.

A number of village residents have demonstrated their skills on the Village Hall stage over the years. This Panto programme (courtesy of Sue Gore) may bring back some lovely memories!

Recently Jackie Isted donated the original drawings by Lydia Roundell, for the Millennium Tapestry made by two instructors and seven village ladies and which hangs in All Saints’ church. We have put these into a PDF file so you can see them too.

This is superb – have a look at the village life in 1975

A wonderful handmade book, Terling – The Common Place Book, made by 10 village WI members in 1975, has recently been donated to the archive. Have a look at the pages here
